Tour Overview

Mt. Etna, the highest active volcano in Europe at 3,350m and with a lunar landscape and untamed wilderness, provides the perfect setting for a unique excursion experience. Just a warning – The forge of Hephaestus never closes!

The excursion on Etna starts at the Silvestri Craters created by the eruption of 1892 on the south side of the volcano. Then the route continues along a path where you can admire the magnificent Valle del Bove, a massive caldera on the eastern part of the volcano.

Afterward, we will explore a lava cave with flashlights and helmets. And, before heading to Catania, we will do a small tasting of local products.
